Home Ice for Littleton Youth Hockey is the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndonville Vermont. From Littleton, take I-93 north until it ends in St Johnsbury, Vt. at I-91. Continue north on I-91 to Exit 23. Get off at exit 23 and turn right onto US-5. Take the first left, Back Center Road, before the Colonnade Inn. Proceed straight ahead approximately 2 miles until you come to a stop sign. Proceed throught the stop sign about 100 yds, take a left at a large square white stone marker. Continue straight ahead, Fenton Chester Arena will be on the left across the street from Lyndon Institute.
Berlin (Notre Dame Arena)
Route 302 through Bethlehem, at the lights in Twin Mountain take a left going north on Route 3, (past UPS). Take a right on Route 115, then right on Route 2 (Jefferson), to Route 16 (Gorham) left turn at the lights, follow Route 16 north to Berlin. Turn left off Route 16 onto Green Street which is a left fork as you enter downtown Berlin. Go to end of Green Street (under railroad bridge) and turn right onto Hillside Avenue. Go past Monaco Restaurant, turn left into Arena. (Avg. 1 Hour)
Concord (Everett Arena)
I-93 South to Concord, Exit 14 Bridge Street. Left at the bottom of the ramp. After you cross the bridge turn left almost immediately into arena parking lot opposite the shopping center. (Avg. 1 1/2 hours)
Conway (Ham Arena)
Take Route 302 East through Crawford Notch. Less than one mile after you pass Attitash Ski Area you will see a sign for West Side Road which is a right turn. Follow this road about two miles and West Side Road makes a distinct right turn (it may show Route 153 here) out in the middle of a field - take the right turn. Follow this about five miles until you come to a traffic light at the junction of Route 16 in Conway village. Take a right going south on Route 16. Very quickly you will see Kennett High School on your right and you will immediately take a left turn onto West Main Street. The arena is just up on your left. (Avg. 1 1/2 hours) New 12/00
Dover
Take I-93 south to Route 393 East (Exit 15E). Route 393 ends and becomes Route 4 East in Concord. Stay with Route 4 to Route 155 in Durham. Turn left on 155 to Madbury. Stay on 155 to Dover. Then reconnect with Route 4 in Dover, go through Dover on Route 4. Dover Rink is on Portland Avenue on left. (Avg. 2 1/4 hours)
Durham
Jackson's Landing Arena (Oyster River) - Take I-93 south to Route 393 East (Exit 15E) in Concord. Route 393 ends and becomes Route 4 East. Stay on Route 4 East through both the Epsom and Lee traffic circles. Go past the first exits for Durham and UNH and take the exit for Route 108. Go south on 108 toward Durham and the road curves to the right about 1/4 mile down. There is a small street on the left as the curve starts, take the left (Old Piscataqua Road) and you will see the arena. (It is an open-air arena) (Avg. 2+ hours)
Exeter (NHL Skate at Exeter)
Take Route 93 South through Concord and through Hooksett Toll Booth ($.75). After the toll, the road splits with Route 93 going to the right and the Everett Turnpike stays straight. Follow Route 93 to the right until you see the exit left from I-93 onto 101-East (Portsmouth / Exeter - about four miles). Follow 101 East to Route 27 East. After you get onto Route 27 look for Industrial Drive which is a left turn. The rink is up on the left. (Avg. 2 hours)
Hanover (Thompson Arena - Dartmouth College)
Route 302 to Wells River, I-91 South to Norwich/Hanover exit. Turn left off exit. Go over bridge into New Hampshire. At the top of the hill is a traffic light at Hanover Main Street and go straight through that light. At the next traffic light turn right, and take your second left onto Austin Avenue which opens up to the arena parking lot. (Avg. 1 1/4 hours)
Hanover/Lebanon (Campion Arena)
Route 302 to Wells River, I-91 South to Norwich/Hanover exit. Turn left off exit. Go over bridge into New Hampshire. At the top of the hill is a traffic light at Hanover Main Street. Turn right going south on Route 10. Arena is about 3 miles down Route 10 on the left. (Avg. 1 1/4 hours)
Henniker (New England College)
Take Route 93 south through Concord. Then take Route 89 North to Route 202 / 9 West (Exit 5, a left exit). Follow 202/9 and get off the Route 114 exit. Take a left at the stop sign and go into Henniker. You go through a small area of shops about a mile from Route 202 / 9, and start back up a hill. On the right you will see the New England College campus. The arena is behind the last large brick building of the campus, and the right turn is in a curve to the left. (Avg. 2 hours).
Holderness (Holderness School) White Mountain
Take Route 93 south to Exit 25 in Plymouth. Take a left at the bottom of the ramp on Route 175-A. About 1/4 mile - at the top of the hill - you will see the arena on your left. Take the left just past the arena to get to the parking lot. (Open-air arena) (Avg. 1 hour)
Hooksett (Tri-Town Arena)
Take Route 93 South through Concord and to Exit 11 at the Hooksett Toll Booth. Get off the highway on this ramp before the toll and you will go under the highway and to the lower toll booth ($.50). After the toll take a left at the stop sign a short distance to the stop sign at the junction of Route 3-A. Take a right and the arena is about one mile down on your left. (Avg. 1 3/4 hour)
Hooksett (ICEDEN)
Take Route 93 South through Concord and to Exit 11 at the Hooksett Toll Booth. Get off the highway on this ramp before the toll and you will go under the highway and to the lower toll booth ($.50). After the toll take a left at the stop sign a short distance to the stop sign at the junction of Route 3-A. Take a right and the arena is about two miles down on your left. Specifically, once you pass the Tri-Town Arean continue on until you see an Irving station on the right, you will turn Left across from the Irving station and proceed down that road about 3/4 of a mile(Avg. 1 3/4 hour)
Keene (Cheshire Fairgrounds Rink)
Route 302 to Wells River, VT, I-91 South to Exit 5 (Westminster-Walpole, NH). Left off exit, down hill to Route 5 South. Turn right, go about one mile, bear left down hill and under railroad bridge, cross Connecticut River, turn right on Route 12 south to Keene, In Keene, turn left at junction of Route 9, go to second light, turn right onto Route 12 South. Cheshire Fairgrounds is 2-3 miles south on Route 12, take second entrance into fairgrounds / arena. (Avg. 2 hours)
Kimball Union Academy (KUA)
Twin Valley - Route 93 North to Route 91 south. In White River Junction take Route 89 South to Lebanon, NH. Take Exit 18 to Route 120 South. Follow Route 120 through the circle in downtown Lebanon, and it is just over eight miles to Meriden on Route 120. In Meriden, take a right at the yellow caution light, and the arena is on the right.
Alternate route... From I-89 take Exit 20 south on Route 12A. Continue through West Lebanon south, you will see Carroll Concrete on the left (There is a small sign to Meriden and KUA). Continue on this road for approximately six miles. You will crest a hill and see the KUA buildings. There will be a sign on the left to the ice arena as you near the bottom of the hill.(Avg. 1 3/4 hours)
Laconia (Lakes Region Arena)
Take Route 93 South to Exit 20. At the top of the ramp take a left on Route 3 North heading toward Laconia. Follow it about 6 miles to the traffic lights at Route 3 just past Shaws Supermarket. Go through those lights and you will take a right onto the Route 3 By-Pass just before the next set of traffic lights. On the By-pass you will take the first exit for Route 106. At the top of the ramp take a left going back toward Laconia. Take your first right for Route 107 and go straight after stopping at the stop sign. The arena is just under a mile from the stop sign. You will go under the Route 3 By-pass and it is less than 1/4 mile further on the left.(Avg. 1 3/4 hours)
Manchester (JFK Arena)
Take Route 93 South through Concord and through Hooksett Toll Booth ($.75). After the toll, the road splits with Route 93 going to the right and the Everett Turnpike stays straight. Stay in the left lanes and follow the Everett Turnpike into Manchester to Queen City Bridge Exit. Bear right off exit, and take a right crossing the Queen City Bridge into Manchester to Elm Street. Turn left at traffic light heading downtown. Turn right at Valley Street (beyond Dunkin Donuts) and proceed through two lights to Gill Stadium on left. Manchester (West Side Arena)
Take Route 93 South through Concord and through Hooksett Toll Booth ($.75). After the toll, the road splits with Route 93 going to the right and the Everett Turnpike stays straight. Stay in the left lanes and follow the Everett Turnpike into Manchester to the Amoskeag Bridge exit. Stay left at the end of the ramp and take a left. Go past the Texaco station and take a right on Bremer Street to the end, about 1.5 miles. Turn left on Electric Street, and arena is at the end of the street. (Avg. 1 3/4 hours) update 3/1/99
Milford (Monadnock Arena)
Take Route 93 South through Concord and through Hooksett Toll Booth ($.75). After the toll, the road splits with Route 93 going to the right and the Everett Turnpike stays straight. Stay in the left lanes and follow the Everett Turnpike. Take NO turns off this road! Follow it south through Manchester and you will come to a second toll booth at Bedford ($.75). Go through the toll and continue south to Exit 8 in Nashua for 101-A. You will go through a couple traffic lights and then come to Route 101-A requiring a left or right turn. Stay in the right lanes to take the right turn to follow Route 101-A West to Milford. At traffic light in center of Milford, go around rotary continue on 101 West about 2 miles. Turn left at fork, over railroad tracks. Rink is about half mile on left. Look for a sign. (Avg. 2 1/2 hours)
New Hampton (New Hampton School)
Take Route 93 South to Exit 23 (New Hampton/Meredith). At the bottom of the ramp make a left turn and then an immediate right turn BEFORE going back under the interstate. Follow that road for about 1/2 mile - as you start down hill look on your right for Dr. Child's Lane, take that right and the arena is the large green building a short distance up on your right. Phillips Exeter Academy
Take Route 93 South through Concord and through Hooksett Toll Booth ($.75). After the toll, the road splits with Route 93 going to the right and the Everett Turnpike stays straight. Follow Route 93 to the right until you see the exit left from I-93 onto 101-East (Portsmouth / Exeter - about four miles). Follow 101 East through Raymond, leave 101 at Route 27 East to Exeter business district. Proceed to center of Exeter, turn right at bandstand, bear left at fork going up hill from bandstand. Pass fire station about quarter mile and take left turn into PEA athletic facilities. (Avg. 2 hours) update 3/1/99
Proctor Academy (Kearsage)
Take I-93 south to Exit 22 (West Franklin). Take a left at the bottom of the ramp following Route 127 West to West Franklin (about 6 miles). Take a right on Route 3/11 and go about 1/4 mile to the junction of Route 3-A/11. Take a right after going over the bridge following 3-A/11. Route 11 takes a left about one mile up. Follow Route 11 to the junction of Route 4 (about 10 miles). Take a right following 4/11 and in about one mile you will see signs for Proctor Academy. The rink is on the far side of the campus on the right. You will see Farrell Field House, and the arena is behind the field house.(Avg. 1 3/4 hours) update 3/1/99
Rochester (Strafford County YMCA Arena)
Take I-93 south to Route 393 East (Exit 15E). Route 393 ends and becomes Route 4 East. At the second traffic circle (in Lee), go north on Route 125 toward Rochester. In Rochester, after going past the Spaulding Turnpike (Route 16), Route 125 will split, go to the right. Turn right at Lowell Street (100 yards), go down Lowell Street 1/2 mile. Rink is on the right, sign says Strafford County YMCA. (Avg. 2 3/4 hours).
Salem (IceCenter)
Take Route 93 South through Concord and through Hooksett Toll Booth ($.75). After the toll, the road splits with Route 93 going to the right and the Everett Turnpike stays straight. Follow Route 93 Salem/Boston. NOTE: This section of highway is noted for many accidents - especially near Exit 3 where the road is a down hill grade with a long sweeping curve to the right. So if the weather is bad - drive VERY slow in this area!! Continue south to exit 2 - Salem/Pelham, go right onto Main Street, at second set of lights take a right onto South Policy Street, follow until you reach Rt. 38, take a right. St. Anselm College
I93 South to I 293 south (Everett Turnpike). Take Rt. 101W (Exit 10) to junction of Rt. 101 & Rt. 114 (set of lights). At juntion of 101 & 114, take Rt. 114 North. Continue through set of lights (mini-golf on right) to St. Anselm Drive. Turn right onto St. Anselm Dr. Campus is approx. 1 mile on right. Go past a stone monument, take your 2nd Drive on the Right. The name of the rink is the Sullivan Rink and it's in the Dana Complex Center.
Tilton School- Tilton School Arena
Take I-93 south to Exit 20. Turn right onto Route 3 South toward Tilton. Go about one mile until you enter downtown. Turn right at the sign for Tilton School (School Street). Proceed up the hill about .2 miles until you see the sign on the right for the Ice Rink. (Avg 1 1/2 hours)
Tuftonboro - Pop Whalen Rink
Route 93 South to Ashland Exit 24, follow the signs for Meredith and Route 25 for about 7-8 miles. Take a left turn onto Route 25-B into Center Harbor and then Moultonboro. In Moultonboro take Route 109 and follow the signs for Wolfeboro - bear right at the fork. In Wolfeboro take a left onto Route 109-A, go 5-6 miles into Tuftonboro, go past a school and a general store. Look for a sign on the right for Waumbek Road, and after you see this sign go straight, the rink is 200 yards on the right. (Avg. 2 1/2 hours)
Tyngsboro, Mass. (Skate 3) Nashua/Salem
Take Route 93 South through Concord and through Hooksett Toll Booth ($.75). After the toll, the road splits with Route 93 going to the right and the Everett Turnpike stays straight. Stay in the left lanes and follow the Everett Turnpike. Take NO turns off this road! Follow it south through Manchester and you will come to a second toll booth at Bedford ($.75). Go through the toll and continue south through Nashua and into Massachusetts. (You could get off any exit for the Daniel Webster Highway - but be prepared for gridlock with shoppers!) In Mass. you want Exit 35 (It's the first southbound exit) for Route 113. At the top of the ramp take a left. About 100 yards on your right, take Locust Avenue. Follow Locust Avenue to the end to Middlesex Road (Which is D.W. Hwy.). Take a right and Skate 3 is 1/4 mile up on your left. (Avg. 2 1/2 hours)
Vermont Rinks
Essex Jct.
Take I-89 N to Exit 11 (US Route 2). Take a right off of the ramp and an immediate right on to Route 117. Continue into Essex Jct. In the village turn right onto Railroad Ave. Turn right onto Route 15. Turn left onto Educational Dr. The arena is on the right past the school (Avg 2 hours)
Gutterson Field House (UVM)
Take 1-89 to Exit 14 (US Route 2). Proceed west on Route 2 to East Ave. Turn right onto East Ave. As soon as you turn right exiting Route 2 get in the left lane. You wll circle back immediately to cross over Route 2 to Spear St heading south. Once you are on Spear St, take the first right turn to the arena (Avg 2 plus hours)
Hartford Ice Arena
Take I-91 south to Exit 12. At the ramp go left. You will come to the intersection of US Route 5. Turn right. Follow route 5 until you see Hartford High School on the right. Turn right the arena is in back of the High School Football Field (Avg 1 and 1/4 hours)
Montpelier Vermont Memorial Ice Arena
Take Route 2 from St Johnsbury to Montpelier. Just as you begin to enter Montpelier you will pass a Kubota tractor dealership, a Subaru dealership and the school bus garage all on the right. As soon as you pass the school bus garage you will cross a small bridge. Once you cross the bridge you will immediately turn right on to Gallison Hall Road. The arena is approximately 1/4 mile down the road on the left. (Approximately 1 and 1/4 hours)
St. Albans
Take Route 2 from St Johnsbury. At the junction of Route 2 and Route 15 at Joes Pond in West Danville, take a right onto Route 15. Continue on Route 15 through Morrisville, at Cambridge take Route 104. Continue on Route 104 through Fairfax. You will come to an underpass for I-89. On the other side of the underpass you will see the St Alban's Ice Arena on the left. (Avg 2 3/4 hours)
Maha
Take Route 2 from St Johnsbury. At the junction of Route 2 and Route 15 at Joes Pond in West Danville, take a right onto Route 15. Continue on Route 15 through Morrisville, at Cambridge take Route 104. Continue on Route 104 through Fairfax. You will come to an underpass for I-89. On the other side of the underpass you will see the St Albans Ice Arena on the left. Continue on until you see signs on the right for I-89. Get on I-89 North to Canada. Get off I-89 at exit 21 and head east on Route 78 to Highgate Center. In Highgate Center take left at the gas station, the rink is down the road on the left. (Avg 3 hours)
Vermont Academy - Saxtons River, VT
Route 302 to Wells River, to I-91 South to Exit 6 (Rockingham / Bellows Falls). Turn left off exit on Route 103 West, go about 3 miles (past Vermont Country Store on left). Just beyond small industrial park on right off Route 103, turn left on unnamed road (watch for small road sign to Saxtons River). Go about 5 miles into Saxtons River, through center of village, pass Saxtons River Inn, turn left at sign to Vermont Academy. Left again into VA campus, up hill. Rink is on north side of campus, behind the field house. (Avg. 2 hours plus)
